Benedict Chepeshi is determined to help Zesco United wrestle the league title away from his beloved Red Arrows after being unveiled at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
After captaining Arrows in the last six seasons, Chepeshi is seeking pasture anew and has signed a two-year-long loan deal with the nine-time league champions.
Last season, the Chipolopolo defender captained Arrows to the league title but will not be at Nkoloma Stadium to help them defend it, rather he will be looking to help Zesco claim a 10th title.
“I am happy to be part of the big family… My goal is to win titles with the club and make history,” Chepeshi said.
Meanwhile, Zesco are delighted to have landed the player.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of experienced right back Benedict Chepeshi on a 2-year loan deal from Red Arrows!
“Benedict brings a wealth of experience and success to our team, having captained Red Arrows for 6 years, winning numerous titles, and earning individual accolades,” the club statement read.
