Striker Alex Ngonga could be on his way out of Zesco United, with the club reportedly unwilling to offer him a contract extension.
Ngonga joined Zesco in 2024 on a two-year deal but has endured a largely unsuccessful spell at the Ndola side.
His contract expires next month, and the club is understood to be reluctant to extend his stay.
“He has not been training, and it doesn’t look like he will be given an extension,” a club source told Bolanews.

The source, however, said Ngonga’s hopes of remaining at the club could rest on incoming coach Mwenya Chipepo.
“Mwenya Chipepo is coming, and Alex is a player he admires a lot from their days at Power Dynamos,” the source said.
Ngonga was part of the Power Dynamos squad when Chipepo served as assistant coach under Dan Kabwe.
