History beacons as Miguel Chaiwa could become the newest Zambian to play in the UEFA Champions League when his side, BSC Young Boys, plays against his compatriot Kings Kangwa’s Red Star Belgrade.

It will also be the first time two Zambians play in the Champions League on opposite teams in the same game, should both players play.

At 19 years, 5 months, and 27 days old, Chaiwa could also be the youngest Zambian to make his debut in the Champions League group-stage match.

Matchday two of the elite European interclub competition will continue this evening, with mouth-watering events set to be witnessed.

For most Zambians, all eyes will be on Young Boys Chaiwa and Kangwa of Red Star Belgrade, whose teams will lock horns.

The Serbian Champions would have been proud of their efforts when they took a surprise lead in their opening match against Manchester City before losing 3-1, and they will look to bounce back tonight.

Coincidentally, Young Boys also lost 1-3 to RB Leipzig at home and will equally seek redemption.

Both teams are coming off 1-0 wins in their respective leagues, giving them the right motivation in a European atmosphere.
