Zambian striker Eliya Mandanji has left the country for Denmark for assessments ahead of a potential move.

Mandanji has been in fine form this season in the MTN Super League for Zanaco FC, scoring 10 goals in 26 games.

The 18-year-old left Lusaka on Friday and will be in Denmark for assessments with Midtjylland.

According to BolaNews sources in Denmark, the trials are expected to take three weeks before a move can be agreed upon later in June, as also reported by Footy Africa.

Mandanji missed Zanaco’s ABSA Cup quarter-final match against Chirundu United on Saturday, which saw them lose 1-0 and exit the tournament.
