The 25-year-old defender has signed a six-year contract with the Blues.

Earlier this summer, he was linked with a move to Manchester United and Newcastle before Chelsea swooped him up.

The center-back joins new signings Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson, Lesley Ugochukwu, Angelo and Diego Moreira.

The 6ft 3in defender featured in every Ligue 1 game last season for Monaco. Disasi’s addition bolsters Pochettino’s central defensive options which was an area of concern last season.
