Fredrick Mulambia put the visitors ahead in the 33rd minute, before Masanyinga made it two in the 87th minute via a penalty.

The Kitwe giants have now recorded back to back victories after they beat Green Buffaloes last time out.

Despite the win, Power are still stuck in third position with 42 points, four points behind League Leaders Zesco United.

Speaking to journalists after the match, Mutapa said he was happy with the team’s consistency.

“It’s more of showing consistency, all games will be tough, we just have to work extra hard,”he said.

“I think this one was a better result we knew it was going to be difficult if you saw the body language of the players we had won it even before the game which made it difficult for ourselves. At the end we feel we controlled very well especially in the second half,”added Mutapa.

Atletico Lusaka.

“It’s just believing in ourselves, I have told the players we have the best crop of players so they have to put themselves there. I wish we can continue with the same form,”Oswald said.

Meanwhile, Power Dynamos will face FC MUZA next weekend as they seek to revive their hopes of finishing in the top two of the League standings.
