The legendary team has recorded five wins, four draws and six defeats this season.

However, since joining Mufulira Wanderers, Head Coach Tenant Chilumba is still unbeaten in the five games he has been in charge.

Addressing the media after match, Chilumba praised the team for the good performance displayed so far and is eyeing a good finish in the first round of the season.

“Zanaco Will Not Be Easy” – Chilumba.

“A very difficult game, I think we have done well so far, five games in a row without a loss. I think our target is to finish on a good note. But it’s a big bonus for the boys, winning away. Fatigue is still there but we still need to fight and finish on a good note, “Chilumba said.

Additionally, the players’ level of fitness has impressed the former Kabwe Warriors trainer.

“The fitness levels of the boys are excellent, we are still preparing, facing Zanaco won’t be an easy game,” concluded the coach.

On Saturday, Mufulira Wanderers will play Zanaco in their upcoming Super League match at Shinde Stadium.
