According to head coach Numba Mumamba, his side, Kabwe Warriors have developed a strategy for punishing their opponent, Atletico Lusaka.
Warriors will host the Bad Boys, Atletico Lusaka in a Zambian Premier League Week 11 fixture at the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium in Kabwe.
Warriors are coming from a 3-0 victory over FC MUZA, while Atletico drew nil all against Nchanga Rangers at Nkoloma stadium in Week ten fixtures.
So far, Kabwe Warriors have won four times, four draws, lost twice, accumulating 16 points from 10 matches. Atletico, is 12th on the log with 13 points from 10 matches.
Warriors key players, Mwamba Mutombo and Killian kanguluma both nursing njuries, have been ruled out for this encounter.
However, Mumamba said the team has planned and prepared for their opponent.
“Our last game was a big motivation to us looking at where we are coming from having back to back loses, I think it was a game that gave us motivation going into this game against Atletico” he said.
“We are playing at home and we need to maximize our points especially when we are playing at home. We will make sure we work hard so that we collect maximum points we know it won’t be an easy game, but we have a team that can collect the three points,”said Numba.
A victory for Kabwe Warriors will punish the Railway side, into the top four of the Zambia Premier League table.
