Nkana FC fans have launched a membership mobilisation drive targeting 300,000 supporters to strengthen the club’s stability and commercial appeal.
Nkana Supporters Council chairman Emmanuel Zulu said the initiative aims to “organize and formalize Nkana’s large support base into a structured, accountable, and financially empowered movement.”
He added, “The club needs stability, unity, and predictable revenue and that starts with a strong, registered fan base. This is the foundation for rebuilding the club.”
New members will be required to pay a K100 annual fee, stating that, “The K100 membership gives Nkana a reliable support-driven revenue stream, strengthens transparency, builds a credible database, and creates a powerful collective voice. For just K100, every supporter becomes part of the solution to the club’s financial and structural challenges.”
On accountability, he stressed, “All membership payments go through an electronic platform where names and amounts reflect instantly. Regular financial updates are being shared… and independent audits will be encouraged to ensure accountability and trust.”
Highlighting the commercial impact, Zulu added, “It should be noted that a club with a verified database of 300,000 supporters becomes a commercial powerhouse. Sponsors want numbers, structure, and guaranteed engagement. This mobilization will position Nkana as a top marketing platform for major brands.”
