Nkana Football Club has confirmed the departure of five players as part of its squad restructuring ahead of the new season.
The Kitwe giants announced that defender Dieugo Apanane, midfielder Joe Wallace Banda, and striker Idriss Mbombo will leave the club following the expiry of their contracts.
Nkana has also confirmed the end of the loan spells of goalkeeper Patrick Chooma and midfielder Francis Zulu, who will return to their parent clubs.
In a statement issued on Monday morning, the club thanked the players for their service during their time at Nkana.
“Nkana FC would like to thank all five players for their contribution and service during their time at the club and wishes them the very best in their future undertakings,” the club said.
The club added that further updates regarding its squad preparations ahead of the upcoming season will be communicated in due course.
