Lwandamina escapes lynching from Kabwe Warriors fans

Kabwe Warriors football club struggles continued on Sunday afternoon as they suffered their fifth defeat of the season when they lost 1-2 at the hands of F.C MUZA at Godfrey Chitalu stadium in Kabwe.

Kabwe Warriors FC have now gone 11 matches without recording a win after losing 1—2 at home to F.C MUZA.

Warriors took the lead in the 22nd minute through Kilian Kanguluma but just when everyone thought they were headed for victory, Bobo Angwenga pulled one back for FC Muza in the 71st minute before Andrew Phiri doubled the lead for the visitors in additional time to silence the home side’s fans.

Drama followed when Warriors coach Geogre Lwandamina was whisked away from been lynched by angry fans who were demanding that he must be sacked with immediate effect.

The fans have continued calling for his dismissal after going 11 matches without a win.

Multiple fans were also seen displaying placards emblazoned with words demanding that the coach be shown the exit door.
