Indeni Football Club head coach Keegan Syabeene is making the most of the team’s final MTN Super League games in order to prepare them for the National Division One League the next season.
Indeni have been demoted after recording three victories, seven draws, and twenty-two defeats in the league.

On this Saturday, following a 1-0 victory over Mufulira Wanderers, the Oil Boys will play against Red Arrows in a Week 32 MTN Super League match at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
During a pre-match interview, Syabeene mentioned that the team’s focus is currently on getting ready for the next season’s National League campaign.
Syabeene explained that the coaching staff has been including young players in training sessions alongside the senior players.
“We’re trying to blend the young players with the more experienced players to balance,” Syabeene said.

He added, “So we take each game as a preparation for next season. So, we try all possibilities, like, even in training. We’ve been trying to blend the same senior players with the young players, especially since, for this game, we have about three or four players out with illness and one injured.”
Syabeene is expecting a challenging game against Red Arrows, who are looking to recover from a loss to Atletico Lusaka in their previous match at Nkoloma Stadium.
“Tomorrow’s game will be a very entertaining game, in that our team is coming from a morale-boosting win against an in-form Mufulira Wanderers. Red Arrows also is coming from a loss against Atletico Lusaka.”
