Three Kansanshi Dynamos players sidelined due to injuries have recovered according to team physician Valentine Ngosa.
In their season opener, Kansanshi Dynamos registered a nil-all-draw against Kabwe Warriors at their home ground in Solwezi.
Clinton Lubula, Rabson Mumba, and Garry Mwelwa suffered ankle injuries in training prior to the resuming of the Super League.
However, Ngosa told the club’s media that the trio have recovered.
“A few players that were out last week with injuries but are back on full training; we’re doing some light training now they are back in training full time. So we have two players who are not with us on training; they have malaria,” he said.
“Last season we tried by all means to make sure that we avoided certain illnesses like malaria and all that. Right now we only have two casualties; we will try and monitor how the situation goes,” added the team physician.
Kansanshi Dynamos will face Zanaco in a second Super League fixture at Sunset Stadium seeking to collect their first win of the season.
The trios return is expected to add fire power to the team as they look set to stage a strong performance in the new season.
