After falling down the packing order, Power Dynamos goalkeeper Lawrence Mulenga says he will utilize the international break to make amends and bounce back stronger in the second round of the season.
Mulenga, a former Kabwe Warriors shot-stopper has struggled for game time this season due to competition in the goalkeeping department at Arthur Davis stadium.
In the second round of the season, Mulenga has not featured in any game for Aba Yellow.
He last featured for Power Dynamos in the CAF Champions League competition against Pyramids FC and RS Berkane, conceding four goals in two games.
However, at the 2026 AfCON tournament, Mulenga was an unused substitute at the competition.
This time around, the Power Dynamos’ goalie has been left out of both the Chipolopolo Boys squad to face Argentina and the Four Nations tournament.
Speaking to Bolanews exclusively, Mulenga strongly believes he will bounce back stronger soon.
“It’s just a phase and it’s part of football, but I have been working hard in the background, and after the international break expect a better Lawrance Mulenga,” he said.

“There is competition, yes, because everyone in my department is working hard and trying to impress, but in football it’s all about hard work and determination. I will remain focused and continue working hard so that I bounce back stronger,” added Mulenga.
Power Dynamos will face Nkwazi in a Week 27 fixture at Edwin Imboela Stadium in their quest to defend their league title.
Mulenga will be looking forward to earning back his first-choice position at his club in the absence of Willard Mwanza, who is with the Chipolopolo Boys squad to face World Champions, Argentina this weekend.
