Chipolopolo legends Kalusha Bwalya and Kenneth ‘Bubble’ Malitoli have described Zambia’s international friendly match against world champions Argentina as a good exposure.
Days after the friendly was confirmed, the team will finally take to the field on Wednesday morning with many fans waiting in anticipation of how Chipolopolo fare against the world champions.
Malitoli, a former Chipolopolo and Nkana striker, has described the game as good exposure.
“It is a good exposure for our boys,” he told Bolanews in an interview. “It is the type of friendly game that every player longs for. You always want to test yourself against the best.”
Meanwhile, Kalusha, who is the current national team technical committee vice chairperson, said it is a great honour for Zambia to play high-profile matches.
He said the team is taking the match seriously.
“The reason we are here is because of the good name that Zambia has. We are taking it very seriously, we have young guys, a team that we have is determined we want to take Zambia back to the place that we are [were],” Kalusha said.
