Following a disappointing start to their 2024/25 MTN Super League season with two consecutive defeats, newly promoted side, Indeni FC redeemed themselves with a point on Wednesday, drawing Power Dynamos 0-0 at the Levy Mwanawansa stadium.

The Ndola-based team opened the season with a 2-0 loss to Zanaco before being thrashed 4-0 by the Green Buffaloes in Week 2.

Indeni were determined to frustrate Power Dynamos, who had just defeated Mufulira Wanderers 2-1.

The Kitwe-based team dominated for the majority of the game but fell short in the first half, with no goals.

It seemed they had found the winner, Jacob Kaunda scored for Power Dynamos with a header from a corner kick in the second half in the 79th minute, but it was disallowed due to a foul on goalkeeper Daniel Simusokwe; adding to Oswald Mutapa’s frustration.

The match ended 0-0, with Power Dynamos moving up to seventh place in the log standings with four points from their first two games of the season. They will host Forest Rangers in week four.

Meanwhile, despite earning their first point, Indeni remains in the drop zone after three games and will face FC Muza in Mazabuka this weekend.
