Zambian Super League side Green Eagles yesterday lost their third successive match after suffering a 0-1 defeat to Nkana FC in a week 13 encounter played at the Choma independence stadium.
The loss meant the club has now gone 13 matches without any of their strikers finding the back of the net so far this season.
BolaNews understands this has not only worried the coach but the club’s management who are now contemplating making new signings in the January transfer window.
The club’s interim head coach Alex Namazaba says he is concerned with the poor conversion rate of his strikers who have all failed to score this season with only defenders and midfielders getting goals for the team.
“We will sit down with the management of the team and talk about that,” he said. “We definitely have to bring in new players in the January transfer window.”
“Our striking force has been poor since the season opened as no striker has been able to score this season, and I am very much worried,” said Namazaba.

The Choma-based side has scored 10 goals this season, with midfielder Amity Shamande scoring five of them.
They have also not scored a goal in their last three games and will travel to Ndola this weekend to face an in-form Forest Rangers who are unbeaten in their last four Super League games.
