Newly promoted MTN Super League outfit Mines United are set to sign midfielder Paul Simpemba on loan from Green Buffaloes, BolaNews can confirm.

The deal is considered done, with Simpemba already training with the team as preparations intensify for the 2025/26 season, which kicks off next month.

The versatile midfielder who can also operate as a winger brings top-flight experience to the Central province-based MTN Super League side, having previously featured for Kabwe Warriors in the Super League.

Simpemba is viewed as a key addition as Mines United aim to make an impact in their debut Super League campaign. The club sees him as a player capable of bringing stability and leadership to the squad.
