Mohamed Fathi is on the verge of parting ways with Kansanshi Dynamos barely five months after joining the club, Bolanews has learned.
Kansanshi Dynamos appointed Fathi in November 2025, taking over from Zeddy Saileti.
Fathi joined the Solwezi-based side on a short-term deal until the end of the 2025-26 Super League season.
However, since joining Kansanshi Dynamos, the Egyptian-born coach has only managed to win one game.
Kansanshi Dynamos are currently occupying 13th place on the log with 29 points from 26 matches played.
Fathi has suddenly disappeared from the technical bench in the previous matches, leaving first assistant coach Dennis Makinka in charge of the team.

A source revealed to Bolanews that Fathi is set to leave the club.
“If you have noticed he no longer appears on the technical bench, he is not coming back to the club; both he and the club are on the verge of separating. It’s been tough for the coach as he has failed to deliver according to the club’s expectations. For now the assistant coach Makinka will be in charge of the team until further notice,” said the source.
Kansanshi Dynamos will face Nchanga Rangers on Sunday, as they seek to survive demotion from the Zambian Premier League.
