Zambia’s women holder league winners, Green Buffaloes Football club has signed Salah Mulimbika from Ntopwa FC of Malawi..
Mulimbika, 18, has signed an 18 month contract to keep her at the club until September 2027.
Speaking to BolaNews on the phone, the skillful attacker who made headlines at the 2026 Cosafa Women’s tournament in Polokwane, South Africa said she is happy to have joined Green Buffaloes.
The former Ntopwa Women’s team said: “I arrived here last week; it has been a good moment joining my first professional club. I thank God for what he has done for me. I will work hard so I can impress the club.”
The Malawi U-20 Women’s National Team winger, has been consistent during the team’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier South Sudan played at Juba National Stadium.
During the match, Mulimbika scored Malawi’s second goal—sending a long ball which swerved past the keeper.
She did the same when Malawi hosted Sudan at Bingu National Stadium providing two assists and proved to be a constant threat.
Mulimbika won the women’s young player award for the 2025 season during the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) awards held in March, 2026.
