Nkana Football Club’s poor form has continued, as they suffered their sixth Super League defeat of the season on Sunday at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka, their adopted home.
The Aba Red were handed a humbling 1-3 defeat by the Zambia Police side, Nkwazi FC.
Isaac Ngoma, Brian Masanyinga, and Peter Mwaangani scored the goals for Nkwazi, while Lameck Kafwaya was Nkana’s scorer for their consolation goal.

With only one win and three draws after week ten, pressure is mounting on the former Forest Rangers coach, Ian Bakala.
The 43-year-old trainer joined the club in September after Beston Chambeshi was placed on administrative leave.

However, Bakala says he is not under pressure from the fans, who may be impatient.
“Fans will always be there [to talk],” he told reporters after the game. “But I think I have to be focused on my work and see what happens on the ground.”
Bakala revealed that he is still looking for a winning formula for Nkana.
“We are looking for a winning formula. Playing at home and losing is very disappointing.”
When asked about how much time he needs to find the winning formula, Bakala said, “Time is always there, and even now it can be a good time. It’s only that we had a bad game. Everything is okay.”
