Luis Suarez reveals plan to retire together with Messi

The former Barcelona talisman remains hopeful that one day he will reunite with Messi at Inter Miami.

Inter Miami, a Major League Soccer team, recently signed 2022 World Cup victor Lionel Messi. According to reports, they also wanted to sign Uruguayan international Luis Suarez, but the deal fell through.

However, there is still hope that the pair will still play together again after Suarez revealed his retirement plans with Messi in an interview.

During their time at the Spanish club, Suarez and Messi both cemented their status as Barcelona superstars and developed a remarkable personal bond that extended to their families.

Currently the former Barcelona talisman plays for Brazilian side Gremio explained that they planned to retire together Messi.

“With Messi we dream of retiring together, it was something that we always planned when we were at Barcelona. and from one year to the next I went to Atletico, and he went to PSG,” he said on Uruguayan TV Show punto penal.

The former Barcelona talisman remains hopeful that one day he will reunite with Messi.

“We dreamed of it, and we talked about it that after Barcelona we would go to the United States, and nothing happened at the time. Now he made the decision to go there and from what you can see, he looks happy, and we hope that at some point that possibility will occur,” he explained.

Suarez hopeful to reunite with Messi.

Suarez currently nursing an injury and he will have to ensure that he fully recovers for him to have any chance of fulfilling his long-term dream of ending his career together with Messi in the United States of America.

Inter Miami will be hoping to continue with their purse for the Uruguayan international having failed to secure his signature last month.
