Young Green Buffaloes Girls FC has been disqualified by the FAZ Disciplinary Committee from the 2025 FAZ Women’s National Division One Playoffs for using unregistered player.

Mwenzo Queens Academy lodged the grievance after revealing that Serah Tembo had played in multiple Buffaloes games. Because she did not register for the 2024–25 season, she posed as a registered player.

Additionally, the Committee found that the same person appeared in several games, which made the offense worse, and the club did not reply to a formal request for their own exoneration.

“Any team fielding an ineligible player(s) shall be automatically excluded from participating,” in line with Rule 3.6 of Playoff Rules.

The ruling significantly changes Group A, where Young Green Buffaloes had previously appeared to have qualified with nine points.

Due to their disqualification, Mwenzo Queens Academy is once again in the running for a top two finish, while Valley Queens FC is currently the only team in the group with a perfect record.
