Copper Queens striker Ochumba Oseke Lubanji has reacted to her debut appearance in the Chinese Women’s Super League for Changchun Dazhong.
Changchun recorded their second win of the season after a 3-2 win over Guangdong Meizhou.

Ochumba, a (WAFCON) bronze medalist, was in the starting eleven for her new side, whom she has joined on a one-year deal from Zambian side Red Arrows Women’s Football Club.
Ochumba explained to BolaNews that she is settling in well at her club, adapting to the weather and food.
She added that training sessions are competitive, and she will work hard to maintain her place in the team.
“I’m adapting to the new weather and the food here in China,” she said.
Ochumba says, “Competition for places is high and the league is tough so I just need to work hard to keep up with the competition.”
The two-time COSAFA Women’s Championship winner said playing professional football has been her long-awaited dream for many years.
“It’s God’s time. I have been praying for this opportunity to play professional football outside Zambia for about 4-5 years and finally God has allowed it,“ she said.
The Zambian striker has left Red Arrows after scoring 20 goals in the Eden University Women’s Super League 2024-25 season.
