The UEFA Champions League, Europe’s most prestigious club competition, returns this evening, with teams aiming to advance to the knockout stages.

For Zambians, all eyes will be on Group G, where Miguel Chaiwa and Kings Kangwa, despite their teams, BSC Young Boys and Red Star Belgrade having already been eliminated from the Champions League, have something to play for.

The spot for the second tier of European competition, the UEFA Europa League, between the two teams will be up for grabs as a consolation for the early exit from the Champions League.

Kangwa has only made one appearance in the Champions League as a second-half substitute, while his counterpart has appeared twice from the bench.

Both teams only have one point to their name as a result of a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture in Belgrade.
