Trouble for Les Blues as Paul Pogba who made his return to training recently has sustained a new injury and it is now comfirmed that the 2018 World Cup winner with miss the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Paul Pogba

Pogba has not played a single official game with Juventus since making his return to Turin in the summer.

With Ngolo Kante out injuried as well, their seems to be a shortage in the midfield department for France as it remains to be seen how Deschamps will weather this storm in order to field a squad that will be good enough to challenge and/or defend the title.

Bukayo Saka

Meanwhile in England, Garry Southgate may have been stressing over the fitness of Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka after the scintillating winger was forced off against Nottingham Forest with an injury he sustained early in the game.

Mikel Arteta was hopeful after the game that Saka’s injury was not serious.

“It was a bad kick, but I don’t see it as anything further than that,” said Arteta.

However, the wingback has not given up on playing the World cup in Qatar.

“I will try and not rule myself out,” James told The Sun. “It is still slow and in the early stages. I have been in rehab for two weeks, so I am still taking it day-by-day.”

English fans will hope the both players will be fit in good time before the World Cup squads are released.

Portugal could also be without Liverpool star Diogo Jota who has been nursing an injury as well.

Romelu Lukaku

For Belgium its becoming more and more likely that they will be without their focal point, Romelu Lukaku who has now sustained a new muscle injury and its comfirmed that he will miss Inter Milan’s Champions League match against Bayern.

Lukaku remains a doubt for the World Cup after suffering his second injury in the last two months.

Manuel Neuer

Germany are currently sweating the availability of Bayern Munich duo Manuel Neuer and Leroy Sane who both currently not fit at the club.

Before the World Cup kicks off on November 20, Europe’s major leagues will pause just for a week and many countries will hope it will be enough for their stars to recover and be fit for the Worlds biggest football showpiece.
