The final round of the World Cup group games starts this evening with Group A involving African Champions Senegal, Netherlands, Ecuador, and hosts Qatar who were already eliminated from the completion.

Here is everything you need to know including betting tips and odds from the experts.

Senegal Vs Ecuador

It will be the first time Ecuador will be facing an African country at the World Cup. The two have previously met in an international friendly match back on May 23, 2002, with Raul Guenon scoring a 69th-minute own goal to hand the reigning African Champions victory.

On the other hand, this will be Senegal’s second time playing a South American opposition at the World Cup having won 3-3 with Uruguay in 2002 and lost 1:0 to Colombia in 2018.

Senegal are placed third in group A with three points while Ecuador and the Netherlands share the lead with four points and hosts Qatar who were already eliminated are at rock bottom with no point.

Two places for the round of 16 are still up for grabs in Group A for either Ecuador, Senegal, or Netherlands if any of them record a win this evening.

Senegal lost 0-2 to the Dutch and defeated Qatar 1-3.

Ecuador drew 1-1 with the Netherlands and also defeated Qatar 0-2.

PREDICTION, BETTING TIP, AND ODDS

Netherlands Vs Qatar

The Netherlands will be going into the final game of the group hoping to get a victory after a disappointing 1-1 draw against Ecuador in their previous game.

The Dutch started the tournament with an impressive 2-0 success over Senegal before being held 1-1 in their second game against Ecuador.

They will go into this evening’s fixture against hosts Qatar knowing that a win or a draw would see them qualify for the last 16 of the tournament.

Cody Gakpo will be expected to continue with his scoring form having found the back of the net in the last two games, Memphis Depay is likely to start in today’s game after coming off the bench in their last two games as he continues to build his fitness levels.

Luis Van Gaal’s side will not take any chances when it comes to qualification, but it will be shocking if they fail to make it to the last 16.

On the other hand hosts, Qatar will be hoping to get a better result after losing their previous two games to Ecuador and Senegal.

The Maroons, who are competing at the tournament for the first time will be playing for pride knowing that they are already out of the competition.

Mohammed Muntari’s goal against Senegal could earn the striker a place in the starting lineup. Another player expected to play a key role is Abdelaziz Hatem having made a positive impact in their last outing.

Qatar and Netherlands have never faced played each other in an international match, so history will be made today as the two sides face each other for the first time in history.

PREDICTION, BETTING TIP, AND ODDS

Netherland have proven to be the strongest team in Group A and will aim at finishing top by beating hosts Qatar who will be playing for nothing but pride in front of their home fans. It will be the biggest upset at the 2022 World Cup if Qatar defeats the Netherlands. TRY A DIRECT WIN 1 @ 1.24 FOR NETHERLANDS.
