Arsenal is back in Europa action this evening and will seek to maintain their impressive performance as they face FK Bodo/ Glimt in their latest group A fixture which will be played at Aspmyra Stadium.
The Gunners who beat the Norwegian side 3-0 last Thursday at the Emirates Stadium will be high on confidence as they seek to confirm a place in the Europa League knockout stage.
Meanwhile Mikel Arteta has told his players that the weather conditions in Noway cannot be used as an excuse as they need maximum points tonight.
“Even if its windy or rainy that’s not an excuse. Our focus is to win every three days and find a way to do it every time.” He said.
Arteta has added that tonight’s result will be very important for the gunners as it could seal their qualification to the knockout stage with two games to spare.
“Every game is crucial looking at the group, tonight’s result is going to be really important because we can eliminate playing an extra two games and the opponents that you will be facing after that, so we know that we want to be top of the group.”
And team captain Martin Odegaard said, “The biggest mistake we can do is to talk about the pitch or the weather. We have to come here and win the game. Its still football and the same.”
Bodo on the other hand have an outstanding record at the Aspmyra Stadium, they won 4-1 at home over the weekend in the league.
Arsenal have so far won the two games they have played in the Europa League and remain the leaders of group A with 6 points.
