The Three Lions, who came to life in the last stages of the match, put on a late show. The Three Lions appeared to be heading for the exit as Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane scored to deny their opponents a historic victory, but a valiant effort from Slovakia was unable to eliminate them.

Even though they advanced to the final of Euro 2020, England hasn’t quite lived up to expectations. In spite of several lackluster performances, the Three Lions won their group.

Slovakia on other hand finished third in Group E but went into the fixture with confidence after beating heavy weights Belgium in their opening game.

Ivan Schranza breached the English defense with a perfectly timed run to put Slovakia a goal up after 25 minutes of play.

Gareth Southgate’s men looked like they weren’t going to find a way back into the game with Slovakia doing just about enough to keep them at bay.

In place of injured Kieran Tripper, Cole Palmer, a Chelsea player, gave England’s assault additional flare.

The Three Lions continued asking questions of their opponents’ defense, but it looked like another frustrating night at a major tournament was lurking.

The Three Lions may have done it the hard way, but you can’t question their desire to win as they fought till the end to sink Slovakia 2-1.
