Manchester City lost 2-1 to Manchester United, while Tottenham were defeated 2-0 by Arsenal in the Manchester and North London derbies, respectively.

City, however, remained second in the league standings but they are now eight points behind league leaders Arsenal, while Tottenham’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League are dwindling as they sit in fifth position.

Tottenham could become the first team to win three consecutive league games against a Pep Guardiola-managed team if they win tonight.

City have lost four of their last five Premier League games against Tottenham who on the other hand, have also lost all four league matches this season against teams currently higher than them in the table.

Antonio Conte’s men completed the double over Guardiola’s men last season, winning 3-2 at the Etihad Stadium to make it four wins in their last five Premier League games against City.

However, tonight’s game presents a completely different ball game, and the North Londoners may find it difficult to repeat history, with City looking set to close in on pace setters Arsenal.

BETTING TIP AND ODDS
