Arsenal F.C. have been crowned 2025/26 English Premier League champions with a game to spare following a remarkable campaign that delivered the club’s 14th top-flight title.
The Gunners sealed the championship on Tuesday night after closest challengers Manchester City F.C. were held to a 1-1 draw by AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
Arsenal had moved to the brink of the title with a 1-0 victory over Burnley F.C. on Monday night, leaving City needing a win to force the race to the final day.
The triumph marks manager Mikel Arteta’s first Premier League title and Arsenal’s first in 22 years, since Arsène Wenger guided the famous “Invincibles” side to an unbeaten league triumph during the 2003/04 season.
Arsenal have won 25 of their 37 league matches this season, drawing seven and losing just five, after finishing runners-up in each of the previous three campaigns.
A strong defensive record has been key to their success, with the team keeping 19 clean sheets while goalkeeper David Raya secured a third consecutive Golden Glove award. Only Manchester City have scored more than Arsenal’s 69 league goals so far this season.
The North London side now have the chance to complete a historic double when they travel to Budapest next week for their second-ever UEFA Champions League final.
Arsenal will face defending champions Paris Saint-Germain F.C. on May 30 as they chase the first European Cup triumph in the club’s history.
