“Kai is a player of top quality; an intelligent player and he will bring a huge amount of extra strength to our midfield and variety to our play”-Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal is bolstering the team throughout the window in preparation for the upcoming season after a remarkable campaign in which they finished second to treble champions Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta might have found the ideal successor for the Swiss with a Germany machine since Granit Xhaka’s departure is all but guaranteed.

Given that the player in issue spent the majority of last season as Chelsea’s No. 9, the deal looks out of the ordinary to many Arsenal supporters.

In a deal estimated to be worth £65 million, the German international will relocate to north London. He leaves Chelsea with the Stanford Bridge chapter of his career preserved. In the 2021 Champions League and 2022 Club World Cup finals, he scored the game-winning goals.

In red and white, Havertz has an opportunity to relaunch his career. Next season, Havertz will be seen as a tantalizing addition to Arsenal’s potent arsenal.

Reports suggested that both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were both long-standing admirers of Havertz. Arsenal won over the player with an exciting vision that suits Arteta’s attacking system.

“Kai is a quality player”-Arteta.

Many will argue that Havertz doesn’t have the defensive attributes that Xhaka is known for. Many have questioned his work ethic at Chelsea, but the 24-year-old can revive his career under Arteta.

Mikel Arteta on Havertz: “Kai is a player of top quality; an intelligent player and he will bring a huge amount of extra strength to our midfield and variety to our play”.

He created name for himself in the Bundesliga, is their hope for Havertz to flourish in the Premier league? The next chapter of his career should provide us with a definitive answer.
