Copper Queens striker Racheal Kundananji became the first Bay FC player to score a brace in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), helping them qualify for the playoffs after downing Houston Dash 3-2.
Bay FC have avoided a NWSL Championship quarterfinal meeting with Barbra Banda’s Orlando Pride as they could now only face them in the final.
Kundananji finished the regular season with five goals and four assists in 21 matches, while compatriot Barbra Banda tallied 13 goals and six assists from 22 games.
