Kennedy Musonda got the better of compatriot Golden Mashata in Israel, posting a 3-0 win with Hapoel Ramat Gan against Hapoel Raanana on Sunday. Both stars started the Liga Leumit encounter going head-to-head for the first time since they moved to the European country.

Elsewhere, Lameck Banda made a 13-minute cameo for US Lecce, who drew 2-2 with Bologna in the Italian Serie A. Starting on the bench for the eighth consecutive fixture, Patson Daka featured for Leicester City in the 82nd minute, helping them steal a point against West Brom in the EFL Championship.

Benjamin Chisala scores first goal in Estonia, Chaiwa and co. hold Scottish champions Celtic

Atletico Lusaka loanee Benjamin Chisala opened his scoring account for Nomme United in the Estonian second tier, scoring an 88-minute winner after coming on as a halftime substitute. The striker made a great run on the right side of the penalty box before unleashing a thumping strike from an acute angle to hand his side a 1-0 victory vs. VJK. His countryman, Ricky Chanda, started the match and kept his seven cleansheet of the campaign.

In Scotland, Miguel Changa Chaiwa played the first half of Hibernian FC’s goalless draw with Scottish champions Celtic FC in the Scottish Premiership. Elsewhere, Benson Sakala Jr featured in the first hour for Bohemians Praha, who shared the spoils with Sigma Olomouc in the Czech First League.

Chama, Andrew Phiri and Joshua Mutale secure qualifications for the next round in the CAF club competitions

In Saudi Arabia, Fashion Sakala Jr clocked 90 minutes in Al Fayha’s 2-1 victory at Al Najma in the Saudi Pro League. Meanwhile, Kingstone Mutandwa started SV Ried’s 0-0 stalemate with GAK 1902 in the Austrian Bundesliga, lasting 73 minutes.

Clatous Chama was named in Singida Black Stars’ starting XI while Andrew Phiri started from the bench as they edged Rayon Sports 2-1 on the afternoon and 3-1 on aggregate in the CAF Confederations Cup first round. Meanwhile, in the CAF Champions League qualifiers, Joshua Mutale made a substitute appearance for Simba, helping them 2-1 aggregate victory over Gaborone United.

Frankie Musonda’s side ship in four goals in Bahrain, Ghampani Lungu stars in South Africa

Chipolopolo centre half Frankie Musonda endured another tough outing for Bahrain SC, who lost 4-1 to Al Budaiya. They have conceded 11 goals in their last three matches. Meanwhile, Lubambo Musonda played the full 90 minutes of 1. FC Magdeburg’s 1-0 loss to Karlsruhe in the German Bundesliga 2.

Ghampani Lungu put on a clinic for Siwelele in the South African topflight, dropping deep to defend as they held on to a 1-0 win against Marumo Gallants. He made four clearances, three tackles and three interceptions. Elsewhere, Toaster Nsabata suffered a 1-0 defeat with Sekhukhune United against Polokwane City.

Chipyoka, Emmanuel Banda suffer defeats in Israel, Liteta, Gift Siame clock 90 minutes each

Fresh from battling each other in the Liga Ha’Al, Songa Chipyoka and Emmanuel Banda both endured losses on Saturday. Chipyoka’s substitute appearance was not as impactful as the one against Emmanuel Banda’s side last week. Hapoel Petah Tikva lost 2-0 to Ironi Tiberias, while Maccabi Bnei Reyne fell 3-1 to Beitar Jerusalem.

In Italy, Joseph Liteta started Cagliari U20’s 1-1 draw against Genoa U20, playing the full match. Meanwhile, Gift Siame was a starter for Leganes B, who downed Trival Valderas 2-0 on Sunday. Elsewhere, Frank Chileshe made the starting lineup for Locomotive Tbilisi in their 1-1 stalemate vs Iberia II in the Georgian second tier.

Sunzu benched for the second game in a row, Mabika out through suspension

Stoppila Sunzu watched Changchun Yatai’s 2-2 draw with Evans Kangwa’s former side Qingdao Hainiu from the dugout. Meanwhile, in the United States, Aime Mabika was unavailable for Rhode Island as he is serving a suspension for a red card.

Meanwhile, on the African continent, Chitoshi Chinga started for Caps United, who continue to flirt with relegation following a 1-0 loss to Dynamos FC.
