In Sunday’s CAF Champions League match, Power Dynamos’ right winger Austin Muwowo has disclosed that the team has put in place a strategy that will prevent their opponents from putting on a strong show at home.
At the Robert Champroux Stadium in Abidjan on Sunday, Zambia’s CAF Champions League representatives, Power Dynamos, will play ASEC Mimosas in the Champions League’s return leg of the preliminary round.
Last Saturday at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, the Zambian champions won the first leg of the Champions League preliminary round 1-0 over the Ivorian team.
With an advantage going into the second leg in Ivory Coast, Power Dynamos will be looking to win away from home.
Speaking to the club’s media in an interview, Muwowo said the team has prepared adequately for the return match.

“We are very prepared accordingly because this is a once-in-a-while chance, and we just have to work hard. We have planned very well, and I think we are ready to face them, and I am sure we are going to get the result,” he said.
“It’s big and slender, but at least it’s somewhere to start from. We just have to work because we do have a lead, and we can still protect it and add more, so we just have to work hard,” he added.
“I think as far as I’m concerned, we discussed, and if we can stand up for like 45 minutes, balance that, and stop them from their attacks, we can definitely have a chance and then score; we can turn tables and continue leading as it is right now,” noted Muwowo.
The winner of both legs will advance to the competition’s next round.
