Team Captain Saddam Yusuf Phiri converted the spot kick in the 65th minute to give Arrows an all important that that they needed to revive their aspirations to progress to the next stage of the continental competition.

The Chisi Mbewe drilled side did not stop from searching for a second goal that would seal the needed victory in regulation time.

Paul Katema ensured that the match did not go into extra time when he slotted home a decider in the 85th minute to send a sizable crowd at the 60-000 seater capacity stadium into wild celebrations.
