The Simba SC striker has scored more goals than any Zambian striker so far this season, making him the most in-form among them all - both those based in Africa and outside.

Zambian striker Moses Phiri has continued with his fine form for Simba Sporting club in the Tanzanian league as he was on target last Sunday for his side that thrashed Dodoma Jiji 3-0 in a week 6 fixture played at Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium.

The former Zanaco striker scored a beautiful goal from long range to help the Tanzanian giants record their fourth win of the season in five matches having only drawn once.

Phiri who has also been voted as Simba SC’s September player of month, completed his move to Tanzania from Sunset Stadium in June this year.

He scored 50 goals for Zambian Super League side Zanaco during his stay at the club and has proven irreplaceable at the Bankers as they are seemingly struggling to score this season.

Since his move to Simba, Phiri has also scored 3 goals in 2 CAF Champions League appearances and will look to score more as he is slowly cementing his position in the starting 11 for Tanzanian giants as their front man.

He has scored 7 goals in 7 matches making him the Zambian striker with the most goals scored so far this season and will now look to help Simba in their pursuit for a 22nd League title this season.
