“it’s a game everyone wants to come and watch. We just want to focus on the game and get a positive result,” Highlanders' coach Kelvin Kaindu said.

On a one and a half year contract, Highlanders acquired 26-year-old Nqobile Ndlovu from Sua Flamingoes FC in Botswana.

Zimbabwe’s Highlanders Football Club has signed striker Nqobile Ndlovu, their first signing of the mid-season transfer window.

Before the midseason break, Bosso head coach Kelvin Kaindu sought reinforcements, particularly in the striking department, in response to a lack of goals in the first half of the season that had left the team winless.

Bosso have signed Nqobile Ndlovu, 26, from Sua Flamingoes FC of Botswana on a one-and-a-half-year deal.

“The club is delighted to announce the signing of Nqobile Ndlovu, who is joining the club from Sua Flamingoes FC of Botswana. The 26-year-old striker signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the club,” read the statement.

Bosso will be locking horns against their nemesis, Dynamos FC, in the Battle of Zimbabwe this Sunday.

Meanwhile, Kaindu has cautioned players against underestimating Dembare, who has had off-the-pitch issues in the build-up to the derby.

“It makes it very difficult when you are playing a team that has its own in-house problems. You may be misled, and it may also affect you one way or another,” Kaindu said in a pre-match conference.

Kaindu states that derbies are not decided by form but by a team’s performance on a given day.

“it’s a game everyone wants to come and watch. Whether they are training or not. We just want to focus on the game and get a positive result,” he added.
