After hanging up his boots, Akakulubwela Mwachiaba, has enrolled into coaching following his departure from demoted side, Mines United.
Widely known as Aka, Mwachiaba left Kabwe Warriors in July 2025, marking a long stint with the Magnificent People’s team, which began back in 2018.
He then joined Mines United, though they mutually separated with the Kabwe-based side before the 2025-26 season ended.
Following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, the former Buildcon striker remained clubless and decided to take up the coaching course rather than joining another club.
Speaking to Bola News exclusively, Mwachiaba said he decided to explore other options in the football industry.

“I have been receiving offers from some clubs, but I’m open to venturing into other things—football-related. As you know, I’m not growing any younger,” he said.
“I will be attending the FAZ E license soon. Class was supposed to start last Monday on the 17th, but due to elections it’s been moved to a later date,” noted Aka.
