Lemekani Mwanza and Donewell Yobe are expected to leave Zambia this week for Malawi, where they are set to join FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, BolaNews can reveal.
The duo have already agreed terms with the Malawian champions, according to sources. Their appointments follow a recommendation by head coach Wedson Nyirenda as he looks to strengthen his backroom staff.
Mwanza is expected to join Bullets as a performance analyst, while Yobe will take up the role of fitness and strikers coach.
“The two have already agreed terms with Bullets, they were expected to be in Malawi as of last month but they were part of the Zambia ladies team in Morocco for Wafcon games.
“So, they will leave Zambia this week for Malawi. Bullets did according to a recommendation by the head coach [Nyirenda]. They are experienced coaches and will surely help the coach in rebuilding Bullets,” said the source.
Mwanza played a key role as Power Dynamos secured a second consecutive Zambia Super League title and has also been working with the Copper Queens as a performance analyst since last year.
Yobe, a former Zambia and Finland striker, previously served as assistant coach at Zanaco.
