Racheal Kundananji was on song for Bay FC scoring a goal and providing an assist as they clobbered NC Courage 3-0 at the PayPal Park in the 2026 NWSL.
Bay FC threatened from the off, forcing two spectacular saves out of Kailen Sheridan with two long range strikes inside eight minutes.
The deadlock was broken in the 14th minute when Kundananji played in Karlie Lema with a glorious through ball on the counter attack.
Despite the opposing defender’s headstart, Lema got onto the end of the pass first, demonstrating devastating pace before rounding the goalkeeper to score.
Bay FC hit NC Courage on the quick transition again three minutes later after Hanna Bebar executed a world class diagonal pass to Alex Pfeiffer, who teed up Lema’s second goal.
54 minutes in, provider turned scorer when Kundananji intercepted a back pass to the goalkeeper, punishing the visitors with a composed right footed finish. Some top notch goalkeeping and resilient defending secured a cleansheet for the San Francisco-based side.
A fifth win in 14 matches for Bay FC, which sees them occupy 11th position in the standings with 18 points, three behind NC Courage who are in the NWSL playoffs spot.

Elsewhere, Prisca Chilufya set up Angel City’s second goal of the match in a 2-0 drubbing of Chicago Stars after making an excellent run in behind before squaring the ball to Sveindís Jónsdóttir at 98 minutes.
Earlier in the match, an offside call courtesy of a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review denied Chilufya an assist made two minutes after coming on as an 84th minute substitute.
Barbra Banda, meanwhile, played the first 62 minutes of Orlando Pride’s 1-0 defeat to Utah Royals on Sunday morning.
Kundananji, Chilufya and Banda will join the Copper Queens squad in Algeria ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) which kicks off on July 25 in Morocco.
