Prison Leopards head coach Elijah Chikwanda and his technical bench have been given a three-game deadline to boost the team’s performance.

The Correct Boys have accrued 38 points from 23 matches played, placing them in fourth place in the league standings.

Prison Leopards appointed Elijah Chikwanda as Head Coach last year October taking over from Lameck Banda.

In their next three fixtures, Prison Leopards will face Ndola United then Young Green Buffaloes before a home fixture against Kafue Celtic at the President stadium in Kabwe.

However, with just 11 games remaining before the league ends, the Correct Boys will need to step up and start earning as many points as possible.

Divino Kifita, assistant commissioner for sports director for the Zambia Correctional Service, warned the technical staff to improve results at the club.

“We had a frank discussion with the technical department and it’s clear that everyone is unhappy with the team’s performance. We expect a significant improvement in the next three games, anything less will be unacceptable,” said Kifita.
