“I’m Very Happy” – Arteta Reacts To Arsenal’s Win Over Ipswich Town

The victory saw the gunners move to second position with 36 points, six points behind league leaders Liverpool.

Arsenal extended their unbeaten run at the Emirates Stadium to 17 with a 1-0 win to Ipswich Town on Friday night. 

Kai Havertz put the home side ahead in the 23rd minute after he benefited from a Leandro Trossard cross.

The victory saw the gunners move to second position with 36 points, six points behind league leaders Liverpool. 

Reacting to the result, Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta praised the team for the brilliant performance. 

“I’m very happy with the victory, with the clean sheet and with big parts of the game. It’s a really difficult opposition. We are playing so many games“

Gunners To Play Brentford On New Year’s Day.

“You see that teams are winning for very small margins. We could have done the margins much bigger“

“last few minutes, you know to defend well in the areas that we had to do and I’m very, happy,”he said. 

“We had some big openings in the second half when we were a little bit more stretched, they were a little bit more aggressive.

The Gunners will miss Bukayo Saka whose set to be out with an hamstring injury for more than two months.

“I would prefer to leave that to the doctor himself, but he had a procedure, everything went well, but unfortunately he will be out for many many weeks,”Mikel said about Saka’s injury. 

The Gunners will face Brentford on New years day in their next Premier League assignment.
