Gabadinho Mhango, a striker for Marumo Gallants, is being investigated by the authorities after a car accident. Mhango over the weekend collided his vehicle with a taxi.
According to reports, Mhango may have been driving while intoxicated; prompting the team to look into the incident and determine what transpired.
Our source close to Marumo said Mhango is not training with the team as investigations are still underway.
“I tried to talk to Mhango, and he claimed he is in a good mood hoping to go back on the ground but hearing from a team official, he stated Mhango felt he is fit to play but he is not training with the squad till investigations are over”
Former Malawi striker who also spent years in South Africa playing for Polokwane City, Essau Kanyenda said Mhango should be careful.
“We have a number of examples of players who did well but ended badly as they have nothing to show at the end of the season,” he said.

Former Malawi captain who played for Mamelodi Sundowns Chancy Gondwe has also given his advice to Mhango. “Mhango is our god in Malawi, he has done a lot for our team, it is sad hearing those stories,” he said
