Kallisto Pasuwa says Nyasa Big Bullet is ready for Red Arrows in Saturday’s CAF Champions League preliminary round; second leg encounter set for Lusaka’s National Heroes Stadium at 15:00 hours.
Red Arrows will aim to overturn a 2-1 defeat they suffered in the first leg in Lilongwe, a week ago.
Pasuwa told a pre-match conference in Lusaka that his team will be aiming to finish off the first leg lead.
“We played first half of the 90 minutes in Lilongwe; we are here for the second half of it. We are playing a very experienced side, and we know what we are expecting, they will come at us. I think we have plan B for it,” he said.
He also downplayed suggestions that his side were not ready for the return leg after playing a league match in the aftermath of their CAF match.
“I think it is the media, like you said, I do not know how they report, I am telling you we are ready, and you are telling me they said which is something else.”
“Our target is to score more goals” – Kakonje.
The loss is behind us, according to assistant coach Kalililo Kakonje, and they plan to score more goals in the second leg.

“We did not score as many goals as we would have loved in Malawi. We created a lot of scoring opportunities which we did not convert. Going in Saturday’s match, we will be looking at scoring more goals than we did in Malawi,” he said.

“Looking at the fact that we conceded two goals. We will try to keep a clean sheet, if we have to concede, we have to concede less goals. Hopefully we will score more goals than we did away.”
