Indeni Football Club, recently promoted, aims to stay in the 2024–2025 Zambian Super League after failing to do so previously.
Indeni spent two seasons in the lower league. The Ndola based side last competed in the Super League in the 2021/22 season. The 2024-25 season is their fourth time to play in the topflight league.
The Oilo men earned 54 points from 34 games played, to finish fourth placed in the National Division One standings.
This earned a Indeni a spot in the 2024 ABSA Cup, but they lost to Kabwe Warriors in the quarterfinals.
Tenant Chembo, the head coach, will be looking to contribute his experience to the team. He has a history of success with teams like Zesco United and the now-defunct Ndola Lime Hotspurs.
Chembo will be banking on experienced midfielder Shadreck Malambo to provide the needed guidance to young players in his squad.
Malambo has won three ABSA Cup titles with different teams namely, Red Arrows, Nkana and Forest Rangers.
