Kabwe Warriors captain Clement Mundia’s future with the club is uncertain, as his contract expires on June 30, 2024.

According to BolaNews sources, the player may be leaving Kabwe because many Super League clubs are interested in signing him.

Warriors are also reportedly negotiating an extension; however, it is doubtful because it is understood the player wishes to begin a new chapter next season.

Mundia joined the Warriors on loan from Napsa Stars on February 9, 2018.

He led the team to their first Absa Cup final in the previous season and helped them secure continental football for the 2021/22 season, when they were eliminated in the first round of the competition.

Mundia also helped Warriors finish fifth with 52 points in the recently concluded 2023/24 season.

It remains to be seen if Warriors will keep him for the next season.
