The Dailymail report, that Aston Villa have pulled off a coup by signing Villarreal defender Pau Torres. The deal is worth £31.5million.
Pau Torres, the stylish left-footed centre-back, was convinced by Villa’s ambition. He was also keen at the prospect of working with Unai Emery again.
The 23-cap Spanish international was identified as one of Unai Emery’s priority targets this summer after the pair worked together at Villarreal for two years.
Torres was also sort after by Bayern Munich. However, the German Champions are signing Napoli’s Kim Min Jae instead.
