Tottenham are on the verge of announcing Guglielmo Vicario as their second signing, says Fabrizio Romano.
The Empoli goalkeeper finished the second part of he’s medicals and signed. The deal is valid until June 2028.
Spurs are on the hunt for a new No1 to replace Hugo Lloris. The 26 year old conceded 49 goals this season as Empoli finished 14th in Serie A.
Guglielmo is now a regular in the Italian squad, despite being yet to win a cap.
David Raya was Spurs original first choice.The Brentford star even agreed personal terms to make a cross-London switch.
However, Tottenham pulled the plug on their move after being quoted £40million.
