The Magpies have made a club record opening bid of £82million to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli. Reports the Dailymail.
The 22 year-old Georgian was one of Napoli’s star performers last season as Napoli were crowned Serie A champions for the first time in over 32years.
The Georgian winger still has four years left on his contract. He joinined Napoli last summer from Dinamo Batumi on a deal until 2027.
Napoli will be determined to keep Kvaratskhelia after the winger’s stunning debut campaign.
